The Founder
The founder of Hiatus Art Gallery, Ashley Reyes, is an artist and poet from the Bronx. She is a self-taught poet and artist since the age of 7. Ashley is also a special education teacher in the South Bronx. She enjoys teaching special education and servicing the communities that she is a member of. Art and poetry are her passions and made her soul feel at home. Ashley hopes that Hiatus Art Gallery can be that home for emerging and established artists, poets and all art-lovers that encounter it.
